Textural Paintings

Through my sketchbook I've been looking a lot at textures, most of my inspiration for this came from doing crayon rubbings of my environment, and elements of texture I saw in the world around me. So I began to paint how I saw my textures to represent cityscapes, and people I saw.

I feel positively about these works as it's a new take for me on making art, a lot more experimental to how I usually work and I working like this is definitely helping me loosen up artistically.
